Its Snowing......

Well, we are finally getting some snow. It is December 4th and it is finally starting to feel like winter. We have been so blessed with mild weather this year. It was 12 degrees this morning on my way to work...brrrrrr!

For the first time ever, my entire house is decorated. I normally dont even put my tree up until right b/4 Christmas. This year I had one up already the Tuesday b/4 Thanksgiving, and both up and decorated by the end of Thanksgiving weekend. It has really put me in the spirit.

The Assisted Living that I work at has a annual Christmas Party. Staff has been busy decorating all week, the building totally transforms itself...it is breathtaking, and the residents love it. One special thing...residents like to share their decorations with us. It is so cool when they see something of theirs displayed....it brings back great memories for them, very special. I love this time of year!!!

Webinar

The other night I attended a Webinar (from the comforts of my comfy couch) and learned many a new things regarding social networking time management. Handmadeology University offered a online webinar focusing on how people are using free social media tools to promote their products on Etsy. It was a little over an hour long and very interesting, I learned things about Facebook that I had no idea existed. And Twitter, it is endless what you can do with this tool. Heroes Die for Me

I am the flag
I look down upon this land called America .
I have been here since this great nation was formed,
I have seen each battle fought
I have seen the heroes die for me, for my country

Thank you all those of you
Who have kept me flying in the breeze
Keeping this country united as one.
Thank you those of you who have sacrificed your lives,
Giving up all that I may still fly,
Watching over the citizens of this nation.
Thank you all those of you who have ever fought,
I am ever grateful for you.

You risked everything; you faced death each day,
Faced fear, faced many terrible things.
And because of you, my thank you's ring out,
Filling the sky, echoing from the hills
They find their way to the graveyards,
And to all of you still living,
You are a special kind of person.
To anyone who has ever served this country,
